Near to the green: Career decisions in professional golf

My MPhil thesis in its entirety. My research explored why people with similar backgrounds, education and experiences can have very different career outcomes. It found that early immersion in a workplace community of practice helped shape future careers, as participants negotiated new environments using skills learned from other communities.

My Ph.D thesis in its entirety. My journey started as curiosity about unfamiliar participants in a familiar game. It changed how I saw golf, inclusion, and the possibility of lasting change within the golf community.
